Who we are

Sokko Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi, trading as Sokko Textile, is the data controller responsible for the personal information described here.

Information we collect

We receive information directly from you through our quote form and project correspondence. This includes your name, company, email address, optional phone number and country, product requirements, project description and any files you choose to send. Required form fields help us understand and respond to your request.

We temporarily store your landing page and referral source in your browser to understand how you found us. These details and your previous page, where available, are included with your quote request.

Your request also includes an estimated device category (mobile, tablet or desktop) to help us understand how the form is used.

Your browser also sends technical information, such as your IP address and browser details, to our website hosting provider.

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not use cookies, does not store anything in your browser and does not identify individual visitors. For each page view it records the page, the referring website, your country, device type, browser and operating system, and how quickly the page loaded.

How and why we use information

• Quotes and projects: to review your requirements, prepare proposals and communicate with you. The relevant legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, or performing a contract, where you are a party to it. For business representatives, it is our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries and relationships.
• Website operation, statistics and enquiry sources: to deliver the site, support its security, count visits, measure page speed and understand which pages generate enquiries, based on our legitimate interests, subject to your rights and any applicable consent requirements.
• Legal matters: to meet applicable legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims, where necessary.

Submitting a quote request does not constitute consent to receive unrelated marketing.

Service providers and sharing

We use website hosting, form management and email service providers to operate the website, receive your request and communicate with you. They process the information needed to provide these services. Information may also be shared with professional advisers or competent authorities where necessary for legal obligations or claims.

These services may involve processing outside Türkiye. You can contact us for information about the providers and international processing relevant to your request.

We use Google Fonts to display text. Loading these fonts sends your IP address and browser information to Google. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

How long information is kept

Retention periods depend on the status of your enquiry, any ongoing business relationship, and applicable legal record-keeping and claims requirements.

Your rights and how to contact us

Under Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), you can ask whether we process your personal information, request details about its use and recipients in Türkiye or abroad, and request correction of incomplete or inaccurate information.

Where the legal conditions are met, you can request erasure or destruction and notification of corrections or erasure to recipients. You can also object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis, and seek compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
